Fleet & availability

Manage assets, equipment classes and rate rules, and understand how the real-time availability engine works.

Strexada's availability is computed by an owned real-time engine, not a spreadsheet. It considers every reservation, contract, transport buffer and cleanup window across your branches.

Classes vs assets

A class is a rentable type (e.g. "Skid Steer Loader"); an asset is a specific serial-numbered unit of that class. Customers rent a class; Strexada assigns concrete assets. This lets the engine substitute units — even across branches — to satisfy a window.

Rate rules

Attach daily, weekly and monthly rates to a class. The rate engine picks the most economical billable combination for the window automatically (e.g. 1 month + 1 week beats 37 days).

How availability is calculated

Earliest-available: when a window can't be fully met, Strexada returns the earliest date it can be — so sales can offer an alternative instead of a flat "no".

Asset status

Each asset carries a status (available, on rent, in transit, maintenance, retired). Maintenance and retired units are removed from availability automatically.
