Getting started with Strexada

Stand up your rental business in Strexada — company, branches, fleet, team, and your first quote — in about 20 minutes.

Strexada is the operating system for equipment rental and construction — quoting, availability, contracts, dispatch and billing in one place, backed by real-time rate and availability engines. This guide takes you from an empty account to a live quote.

1. Set up your company & branches

Your account is scoped to a single company (tenant). Add each physical location as a branch — every asset, quote and contract belongs to a branch, and availability is calculated per branch with cross-branch substitution.

  1. Open Settings → Branches and add each yard or location (name, address, timezone).
  2. Set your default currency and tax rules under Settings → Company.

2. Build your catalog

Strexada separates equipment classes (e.g. "Mini Excavator 3T") from individual assets (serial-numbered units). Rates attach to classes via rate rules.

Tip: Buffer hours (transport + cleanup) are subtracted from availability automatically, so the engine never double-books a unit that's still in transit.

3. Invite your team

Add users under Settings → Team and assign a role — owner, dispatcher, yard, accounting, sales or viewer. Roles gate exactly what each person can see and do.

4. Send your first quote

From the dashboard, click New quote. Pick a customer and equipment class and a rental window — Strexada checks live availability and prices it instantly. Save it, and it enters the quote pipeline ready to reserve, confirm and convert.
